Great Lakes Copper Ltd.
Great Lakes Copper Ltd. serves the plumbing, refrigeration, OEM, media, air conditioning, and specialty markets with a wide range of products. Located in London, Ontario, Great Lakes Copper partnered with AUX Energy and PowerFlex (EDF Renewables) to implement a 3MW, 4-hour Battery Energy Storage System (BESS) at their London plant.
The behind-the-meter BESS was deployed to reduce Global Adjustment charges, a type of demand charge, and to capitalize on energy arbitrage for additional cost savings. The system also leverages market services in Ontario, such as Demand Response and Operating Reserve, to maximize its value.

In Englehart, Ontario, Georgia-Pacific partnered with AUX Energy and PowerFlex (EDF Renewables) to implement a 3MW, 2.3-hour Battery Energy Storage System (BESS) at their Englehart plant.
